This database contains a traveller's guide to Hampshire, England. It is divided into six sections: Bournemouth, The New Forest, Winchester and Central Hants, Southampton, Portsmouth and Eastern Hants, and Northern Hants. For each area there is a detailed description of things to do and see, a list of hotels to stay at, a description of modes of transportation available, and a map. This database would be good source to learn what these areas of Hampshire were like in the late 19th century.
